As the saying goes: Death is easy- humor is hard. I put some humor into everthing I write, more ironic than laugh-out-loud. A little touch can really get under the reader’s skin.
I need to know more about graphic novels and how to break into that field. Some of my stuff has good visuals that would transfer well, and selling one story to several different media forms is the way of the future. I would love to see graphic novels in your pages.

I would love comedy stories in your pub – not necessarily a comedy slot in every issue that you had to fill. I’d really just like it if the NM editors have the “option” to purchase comedy stories if great ones come in because, as the previous poster suggested, it’s hard to write a truly funny story.
I don’t really have an opinion about the other two topics. I tend to do my own research on demons and I never really got into graphic novels.
Have you guys announced yourselves at Absolute Write? I found you via duotrope and have been reading ever since! But I’m sure the horror gang over there would love to read NM. And they love to submit. In the literary sense.
Thanks!
I would love to see all of the above. I highly enjoy comedic horror and well-written humor in general (especially if it’s dark and twisted), anything related to demons, and the idea of comics/graphic novels sounds intriguing.
I’d love to see if you decide to do any/all of these ideas in future issues of NM.

I’d love to see a comedy section. Not enough markets out there for comedic horror, despite the success of guys like Christopher Moore. I have some I’d submit for consideration.
Graphic novels are great, too. Anything visual is a plus for an e-zine. Something to balance all those pesky words.
